more experience landing big rainbows and brown's with a fly rod but we caught plenty of fish. The Saltwater fisherman came out in me. Jeff and his staff were awesome, the guides we fished with were great. The scenery along the quality water is crazy beautiful and the food served was great as well.

Not only is this the best destination on the San Juan River and Navajo Lake, it is one of the nicest places we have stayed. The setting could not be more majestic. The staff, on-site chef, and cabins are 5 Star. The original owners, Larry and Leslie, were spectacular and have passed the torch to Jeff and Alicia who could not be nicer people. Jeff has been at Soaring Eagle since day 1 and is an outstanding guide. We are looking forward to the evolution of Soaring Eagle and can't wait to visit again.
